Portugal

Corc Yoga & Souljourn Yoga Foundation invite you to join us for the 1st edition of PAREA, an all-inclusive weekend wellness summit with panelists and workshop facilitators from diverse perspectives to create a holistic experience. Learn firsthand from thought leaders in the industry on how to create and cultivate purpose driven projects that go deep instead of wide in creating a lasting positive ripple effect.

Parea is for anyone who wants to dive deeper into expanding any kind of sustainable tourism or wellness practices be it leading yoga retreats or designing an eco-lodge.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Souljourn Yoga Foundation and Desafio Jovem, Corc Yoga’s mental health partner in Portugal.

Meaning of Parea: A group of friends who gather together purely for the enjoyment of each others company to share experiences in life, their philosophies, values and ideas and to celebrate the simple things in life.

Parea is an annual collective which draws upon individuals from the global community who are on the path to create sustainable solutions and impact driven missions which support and elevate people, plants, and the planet. This weekend immersion is all about authentic connection, creating and facilitating conversations on what we are doing on our own unique journeys to uplift and bring light to the true meaning of wellness, regenerative and sustainable travel both on a local and global scale.

Founder of Souljourn Yoga Foundation

  • Founder of Souljourn Yoga Foundation. While embracing New York City’s fast-paced and driven yoga culture, our founder, Jordan Ashley, recognized a need for service-based yoga; a need for experiences which give perspective to the self through selflessness. Feeling extremely blessed to not only be given the opportunity for education, but to have a voice in society, she felt it was imperative to raise both awareness and funds for girls all over the planet who are denied such essential human rights.
